The art cars at Life is Beautiful will be a visual feast in overdrive!
With Life is Beautiful 2017 just a few weeks away, the excitement is mounting. The mixed music and arts festival hosts a variety of attractions, from interactive art and physical galleries to multiple stages hosting both music and comedy acts. Additionally, as with all great events, all these attractions are paired with an amazing Taste lineup featuring culinary masterpieces and fusions.
This festival has it all, and we are beyond excited to see what changes from last year lie in store. Life is Beautiful announced a lineup that will transform Downtown Las Vegas into a wonderland of sights, sounds, and tastes. As if that wasn’t enough to entice us, the two art cars joining the party will create an experience unlike any other.
Forest House Art Car
Showcased for the first time at Burning Man, Forest House was built on a school bus and features 30,000 LEDs. It is an electrified car encased in glowing neon trees (not the band, actual trees)! On September 22, Trollphace and Rick Remedy will be spinning some hard-hitting sets. Then on September 23, Collective Zoo will be hosting the party ship with a surprise guest and Dr. Fresch. Finally, on September 24, the underground house collective MNTRA will close out the weekend.
Kalliope Art Car
The circus-inspired Kalliope Art Car is no stranger to music festivals. The car has seen its share of festivals, including last year’s Life is Beautiful, Burning Man, Bonnaroo, and the Electronic Daisy Carnival. The first night on September 22 will be hosted by Emo Nite. DJs will spin the music of pop-punk artists who wear too-skinny-for-comfort-jeans. Of course, if you don’t get enough Emo Nite that night, you can always check out their hosted events happening all over the strip: Brooklyn Bowl, The Linq Promenade, and the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay.
On Saturday, September 23, the Los Angeles-based tastemaker Space Yacht will be making some large waves. They will be hosting Sinden and Prince Fox as well as other up and coming artists. Finally, on September 24, you’ll see sets from Bunch Bounce’s DJs who will spin a variety of genres from hip hop to disco, but more importantly, everything in between.
Although the 3-day general admission passes are sold out, don’t fret because VIP is still available! 3-day VIP, V+VIP, and All-In, as well as single day VIP tickets, are still available and can be found here!
