The Meadows Music & Arts Festival is returning to New York City September 15-17!
New York City: the Concrete Jungle, the city that never sleeps, where dreams are made. New York has yet again reminded us why it commands all those titles as The Meadows Music & Arts Festival dropped its 2017 lineup.
This is the second festival to be put on by Founders Entertainment, the same producers who put on Governor’s Ball. The festival is held in Queens and is in its second year. 2016’s edition had some pretty good traction and gained notoriety by hosting acts like Kanye West, J Cole, and Chance The Rapper, and we couldn’t wait to see what was in store for this September.
This year, the lineup boasts some serious heavy hitters as Jay-Z, Gorillaz, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be taking the stage. The Meadows continues to come strong with a well-rounded, eclectic array of artists that are sure to turn out a fun crowd.
Can we take a moment to recognize the ever-growing, awe-inspiring music scene in New York City? NYC has always been known as a mecca of art, music, and fashion. Festivals like Panorama, Governors Ball, and now The Meadows continue to add to that ever-growing culture with lineups that combine popular artists with timeless acts like Jay-Z sprinkled atop the psychedelic stylings of David Albarn and Gorillaz.
