So when an interesting tweet leaves us guessing, we can’t help but do some digging. Earlier this week trance and progressive music maestro Omair Mirza sent out a tweet that read #ThisIsOHMMusic. A very curious tweet indeed. So after dropping it into a search engine we were led to the website http://thisisohmmusic.com. What we found was that there is indeed something in the works but the details are limited and very mysterious! Nothing more than 3 flashing letters (OHM) within a date; November 2016.
What’s even more interesting is that just a few short hours after the tweet hit social media, the tweet disappeared into thin air! Causing quite a stir among those who question its focus, including us here at EDM Identity, we are left wondering if this could be a launch of a brand new music label or brand? Are we witnessing the beginning of an incredible new chapter within the electronic dance music industry?
What is OHM Music going to bring to the table? And what is Omair Mirza’s connection with all of this?
If we take a look back, this isn’t the first time that we have been subjected to mysterious postings and thought provoking teasers. Some of the biggest names in the industry have led us on wild missions to figure out hidden truths among cryptic messages causing social media platforms to light up! Among them are artists like Deep Dish who used a similar tactic a couple of years ago, choosing a sound loop and a countdown to eventually announce that there would officially be a Deep Dish reunion. That mystery sent everyone into a tail spin and we wanted nothing more than to stay locked in as the excitement grew to a fever pitch.
Today, the elation has returned as it looks like we are staring right at the next grand mystery waiting to expose itself. All I know is that currently with the limited amount of information we have we will just have to wait patiently for more details to surface.
