Recently we released a story about EDC Las Vegas sparking $1.3 billion for Clark County in Nevada. Today, Insomniac Events has announced that the 2015 Southern California Edition of Beyond Wonderland has generated $15.5 million for San Bernardino County!
In 2015, Beyond SoCal welcomed 70,000 fans to San Bernardino County over the course of the two-day festival. The study that was conducted by Beacon Economics, LLC and commissioned by Insomniac revealed that of the $15.5 million, festival attendee spending accounted for an economic output of $10.5 million. 90% of attendees traveled from outside of San Bernardino for the event, spending an estimated $3.5 million on accommodations. Additionally, guests spent approximately $4.2 million on food and beverage, $1.3 million on transportation, and $1.5 million on entertainment and retail. Insomniac spending was responsible for a $5 million in fiscal impact.

The festival also generated an estimated $1.7 million in taxes for state and local governments. Insomniac has brought over one million electronic music fans to San Bernardino county since 1994.
