Vice Media Shuts Down Electronic Music Outlet, Thump

The company has announced it would be laying off 2% of their staff overall, which includes the shut down of Thump. Today, the electronic music focused website Thump has shuttered its doors for good. In their push for more video-related content, VICE Media is laying off around 60 members of their staff in Europe and North America as part of their new direction. This move also includes the opening of offices in Dubai and Mumbai with an increase in their international staff too.
