Wonderfront Festival has dropped a diverse lineup for their debut edition that will surely tickle the fancy of any music lover in Southern California.
If you love music and live in San Diego, you know that your music festival options have been fairly limited over the years. After losing Street Scene the range of multi-genre festivals got even smaller and only recently picked up with the new addition of KAABOO. Now, there’s a new festival in town that’s shaping up to be quite the experience: Wonderfront Festival.
Set to be hosted on November 22-24, Wonderfront Festival will be taking over San Diego’s iconic Waterfront for a weekend full of epic beats and fun in the sun. While the news about the festival started the hype train, we’re now full steam ahead as the debut lineup has been unveiled and it’s packed full of talent with headliners including Slightly Stoopid, MGMT, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Omar, and Los Angeles Azules.
Whether you love rock, hip-hop, or electronic beats there’s someone that will definitely catch your ear. Electronic standouts include Bob Moses, 3LAU, TOKiMONSTA, Big Gigantic, Big Wild, and Thievery Corporation leading the charge, while jam band lovers will be grooving to the sounds from STS9, SunSquabi, and more.
Hip-hop heads will be excited to see artists like Vince Staples, Busta Rhymes, Tyga, and Lil Dicky on the bill as well. And we can’t forget about Tony Hawk’s hosted Huckjam stage which will feature Pennywise, X, Suicidal Tendencies, The Vandals, and DJ Z-Trip as well.
