Tech house sensations Black V Neck are setting the dancefloor on fire with “See You Work,” out now on Dateless & Lucati’s Kȯlmē Records.
Miami-based tech house duo Black V Neck may style themselves as “Just a shirt that makes music,” but if the sounds coming out of their studio are any indication, they are so much more–and if they haven’t been on your radar until now, then you’re just in time. Today marks the release of their newest track, titled “See You Work,” on Dateless & Lucati’s Kȯlmē Records as part of their four-track Newkomers EP.
For their part, Black V Neck lent their considerable production skillset to the last track on the album, and “See You Work” has everything that you could possibly want from a tech house tune. It starts out simply enough, with minimalist percussion and an isolated vocal making the beats before adding a delectable Latin groove, an unmistakable hook, and a bevy of off-kilter sound effects that will keep you guessing as they ratchet the energy up.
It’s fun, it’s groovy, and it’s more than a little weird–and it’s going to be on repeat on your speakers as soon as you get it into your ears. Check out our exclusive premiere of “See You Work” and keep reading below for some words from Black V Neck about the track!
