Bryan Kearney & Christina Novelli’s “By My Side” Gets the Craig Connelly touch
Flashback to the year 2016 when Bryan Kearney and Christina Novelli teamed up to create the gorgeous tune “By My Side”. The track went on to capture the #15 spot on A State of Trance’s Tune of the Year and more importantly, captured the hearts of the worldwide trance family. Anyone who dared remix the track would have much to live up to, but it should come as no surprise that Craig Connelly’s version rises to the occasion.
Though a stunning producer of original works, Connelly certainly shines as a master remixer. His ability to dissect a tune, insert moving buildups, breakdowns and often haunting melodies while keeping the essence of the original track is exquisite. Even if you prefer the original, the energy emanating from Connelly’s remix of “By My Side” is sure to leave trance fans uplifted, emotional and wanting more. Snails and Boogie T join forces to release “Redline”.
This exciting collaboration between Snails and Boogie T provides a pleasant diversity to the normal baseline for Snails, aggressive, in your face blend of trap and dubstep. Boogie T, bringing components of a reggae vibe, dovetails nicely with the provocatively unusual sound elements that Montreal’s Snails delivers on the release.
“Redline” artfully blends riddim and dub to create a very entertaining track that retains that distinctive Snails sound with a slight departure from his traditional auditory invasion. This is an excellent choice to blast in the car, check this track out today, you will love it! – Bill

Khievo warms the soul on these cool autumn evenings with “Exception”
For now, Khievo may be considered an artist on the rise but with one listen to his latest release, there is no doubt that we are looking at a future superstar of trance. Out now on OHM Music, “Exception” summons us forth to join Khievo on a special journey, featuring stunning soundscapes that set us in a pocket of warmth as we soak in some much-needed melodic music therapy.
“Exception” truly reaches out to the dreamers among us. As we allow the sweet tone to flood our senses it is impossible not to drift away, hypnotized by the mystical emotion that lingers throughout each and every carefully crafted beat. It should come as no surprise that Khievo has begun to garner the attention of some of the most valued players in the game since blasting out of the gate with the Ferry Corsten supported “Inspire” and “Waterborne”. Hydrah blends orchestral-inspired melody with dark brooding undertones on “Complete”
Move over boys because the electronic dance music sensation Hydrah is here to throw down the fire! Katie Kramarczuk or Hydrah (as we all have grown to know and love her) has raised the bar to fascinating heights with a brand new crave-curving auditory treat that is going to shake you to the core. Since the highly supported release of “Return” Hydrah proudly presents “Complete“, the follow-up single off up her forthcoming EP Nostos (out November 30). Developed as a nod to our experience as human beings on this spinning rock in the cosmos, Hydrah sets the mood with pinpoint focus.
With the trifecta in full effect, the Los Angeles based tastemaker lends her background as a music producer, composer, and singer to develop a hair-raising tune inspired by the ideals of returning to one’s own roots. Through ethereal sound bytes and stunning rhythmical detail, she weaves a shadowy story, unveiling the truth behind raw environmental connections and our spiritual purpose within this ever-evolving saga we call life. One of my favorite track’s of the year, you are not going to want to sleep on this one! -Maria

The addicting hook and house melody make this song one you’ll want to have on repeat all weekend-long; not to mention, it will also be featured on James’ upcoming debut studio album, which is set to release next year.

DUNE x Jakka-B take us to “Utopia”
The collaboration between Jakka-B and DUNE is the perfect amalgamation of the classic and current styles of the UK and happy hardcore sounds. Hence the title, “Utopia.” With a keen ear on the track, fans of Jakka-B and DUNE can clearly hear each artist’s contribution as the flow together in harmony to create an ideal sound.
The track begins with a bit of breakbeat hardcore then morphs to the more UK hardcore melodics. It then builds up and drops with that sweet bass and signature hardcore kick. The sound continues as each element flows together effortlessly. The musical progression paired with the looping vocals echoing, “Don’t Go Back” and “Welcome to Utopia” makes the track come together beautifully. Create New Worlds to Explore with Big Wild’s “Maker”.
The beloved Foreign Family Collective artist has amassed a loyal fan group within the electronic music scene with his feel-good dancey jams. Earlier this week Big Wild announced via Instagram he would release new music, but it was unclear in what format. The next day the Massachusetts native announced his debut album, Superdream, will be released in 2019 along with an accompanying tour. Fans also got a taste of what the new album will sound like with the first two released singles “Joypunks” and “Maker”.
“Maker” is my favorite of the two singles because it has a psychedelic rock feel unlike a lot of Big Wild’s past productions. You can hear prominent electronic sounds, but the track is really driven by the vocals, guitar riff, and drum beat. If I didn’t know this was a Big Wild track I would have immediately guessed it was Tame Impala. For an electronic artist to pull inspiration from multiple genres and expertly mend them together in one track exemplifies Big Wild’s production ability and style. If these 2 singles are any indicator of how the new album will sound I am really excited to hear the rest of it. Stay tuned for new releases from Big Wild and snag a ticket to the Superdream tour!
