The Glitch Mob is constantly pushing the boundaries of electronic music and immersive experiences, now partnering with TheWaveVR for their latest enhancement!
Talk to any fans of The Glitch Mob and they can tell you that the group strives for and succeeds in creating immersive, almost otherworldly experiences. Whether through their music or within their tour, the group often brings innovative and awe-inspiring visual and aural experiences to the masses. This next endeavor takes their goal of immersing fans in their music, to a whole new level.
The Glitch Mob announced that they will be collaborating with TheWaveVR, the creator of the world’s first social virtual reality (VR) music platform, to envelop fans within an interactive, VR version of their latest album, See Without Eyes. The 20-minute VR experience will take fans through an immersive multi-sensory journey aided by a custom mix of the album. Participants aren’t just passively involved but can actually interact with the environments and even become part of the visuals.

This is just another way that The Glitch Mob is showing that they are constantly learning, growing and changing, and we couldn’t be more excited!
After watching the trailer, this is definitely giving me Child of Eden vibes, in the best ways. I’m loving that they are pushing the boundaries of music and social gaming by using this technology to engage with fans. The Glitch Mob worked closely with both TheWaveVr and Strangeloop Studios to create this world which allows fans to truly engage with the already unique album, in another more personal way.
