LSDREAM’s Trippy Bee Records debuts with two massive compilation albums featuring Lumasi, Marvel Years, Steller, and more.

Bass music behemoth LSDREAM has officially added the title of label boss to his résumé. Launched on September 12, Trippy Bee Records is the brainchild of the legendary psychedelic space bass producer. Described by LSDREAM as a “new home for boundary pushing sounds,” the label has kicked things off with two huge compilation albums highlighting some of the best talents in bass music.

Trippy Bee Vol. 1 delivers 11 futuristic electro-soul tunes. Singles from Defunk, Marvel Years, and Mocha Music shine with electrifying, funk-driven sounds. On the more experimental side of things, pheel. and Lucid Slip explore a wonkier and darker side of bass music on the album. Additional tracks from Vincent Antone, Raaket, Steller, HYPERLIGHT, Stevie Nova, and K+Lab round out the impressive list of rising talent featured on the compilation.

In contrast, Trippy Bee Vol. 2 leans into experimental bass music with lower frequencies and dark, downtempo soundscapes. “Deep Inside” by Lumasi provides an atmospheric, sploinky addition to the album, while AG, SuperAve., Noetika, and Noize Complaint contribute energetic dubstep and trap tunes. Songs from JAMiAM, Slang Dogs, Seth David, Jkyl & Hyde, PIERCE, NCITE, STAR SEED, and Austeria round out the album’s impressive producer credits.

In a video posted to Trippy Bee Records’ Instagram page, LSDREAM stated, “this record label is an extension of the mission that I’ve been on, and I hope that it brings more joy and more abundance and more expression to everyone that comes in contact with it.” Producers looking for their chance to be a part of the imprint’s impact on the bass scene can now submit their music for consideration.
