GRiZ Joins Forces with Flowdan on New Single "Coast 2 Coast"

As his comeback continues, beloved and multi-talented artist GRiZ teams up with UK grime icon Flowdan on “Coast 2 Coast.”

Funk-fueled, genre-bending powerhouse GRiZ sent shockwaves through the EDM community back in March when he announced his return from a hiatus that began in 2023. Since then, he’s dropped a string of new releases, including his EP, GEMiNI, and a bass-heavy single with dubstep powerhouse Wooli titled “Chaos Theory.” Today, he continues that momentum with his latest single: “Coast 2 Coast” featuring Flowdan.

Originally teased as an unreleased ID during GRiZ’s hiatus, the track’s futuristic bass instrumental was played out by artists like Subtronics, Tape B, and Levity, quickly becaming a fan favorite. While it was initially built around Flowdan’s sampled vocals from Sammy Virji’s “Shellaverse,” Flowdan was inspired by the positive response the ID received and recorded fresh vocals for the official release. He thus transformed it into the heater that it is.
