Mita Gami Teams Up with Garden City Movement on New EP

**Mita Gami and Garden City Movement take their talents to Crosstown Rebels with the funky, lush soundscapes of their three-track Untouchable EP in tow.**

Crosstown Rebels has become a home for some of the most forward-thinking sounds in the scene, and each passing release continues to prove their top-tier curation. The latest to land on the imprint comes from Mita Gami and Garden City Movement, two acts that have been keeping dancefloors moving and grooving to the beat.

Mita Gami is no stranger to Crosstown Rebels, having released “Night Shift” and “High On” with Adam Ten in 2022, remixing “Renegade” in 2023, and more recently teaming up with EREZ on “Where’s My Voice?” This time around, he joined forces with live-electronic duo Garden City Movement, who are making their label debut, to craft the Untouchable EP.

The Untouchable EP features three tracks and marks the first time that these house masterminds have worked together. “When two worlds collide, it’s not guaranteed perfection, but with Garden City, the evolution has felt so natural,” Mita Gami said about the release. That evolution can be heard throughout the groovy deep house soundscapes found throughout the EP’s runtime, each of which stands tall in its own right.

Leading the charge is “Untouchable,” a track that’s filled ot the brim with vibrancy. From the funky rhythms and the live guitar riffs to the vocals that hypnotize the soul, you’ll find yourself drawn to the dancefloor, bopping your head to the beat, and shuffling your feet along the way. “Happiness Is Too Finesse” arrives soon after with its organic percussion, vocal layers, and playful grooves front and center, yet there’s undeniable depth to this one as it chugs along.

While the previous two tunes exude dreamy vibes, the EP’s closing track, “Terracotta,” offers even more immersive grooves. Press play and you’ll find yourself falling in love with the track’s lush, melodic layers, live instrumentation, and pitched vocals that stir emotions deep within you. It’s a gorgeous ride that helps you drift off into a trance-like state.
