Above & Beyond is celebrating 25 years of Anjuna, and to kick off the year, they’ve rebranded their third label, Reflections, into Anjunachill while dropping off their new single, “Shall We Begin.”

UK-based trio Above & Beyond is one of the most storied acts in the electronic music scene. Their early days were spent putting trance on full display, while more recent years saw them explore progressive realms. Throughout that, they created Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep to foster new talent and grew a vibrant community that craves its sounds. Reflections was the latest label to be birthed by the trio, and as Above & Beyond celebrates 25 years, they’ve rebranded it to the aptly named Anjunachill.

Anjunachill might be the new name for Reflections, but that’s the only significant change to the imprint. Initially launched in 2022, the soundscapes on this label are rooted in ambient, downtempo, and chillout realms that the group has put at the forefront with albums like Flow State and tunes like “Sun In Your Eyes.” Over 70 artists have graced the imprint since its launch, including Yotto, Mark Barrott, and Croquet Club, among others, and more – such as Cephas Azariah and newcomers Planet of Souls – will find a home there in 2025.

The first release on the newly dubbed Anjunachill comes from none other than Above & Beyond themselves. They’ve marked this new era with the release of “Shall We Begin,” an aptly titled track that shows off their abilities in the downtempo realm. Those with a keen ear will have heard this emotion-fueled soundscape featured at the start of the trio’s guest mix for the 500th episode of Anjunadeep Edition, and it doubled as the soundtrack for the Anjuna 25 video that played at ABGT600. They’ve paired this single with three previously released tunes that fit the style to sweep you off your feet.

We’ve always believed that the best music is timeless. It has a unique power that can resonate across generations. Ambient music has been a part of Anjuna and Above & Beyond since the beginning, starting with our first album ‘Tri-State.’ Including ambient tracks on our albums has always felt right to us. Music can be comforting and healing, especially living in this hectic world. It’s music that grounds us and helps us find peace. Looking back over 25 years, it’s incredible to see how many timeless pieces have emerged from our labels and how they still have that same feeling.
