5 Years Of Evolution Chamber features tracks that have helped define the label from Task Horizon, Magnetude, Receptor, Skrimor, TNTKLZ, Impex, Lance Dance, Ekwols, OMNEUM, and more.

The UK is a hotbed for drum and bass talent. Some of the scene’s biggest stars call the country home, but there’s plenty more to unearth from passionate artists helping shake up the genre and lay claim to their own territory. One label that has fostered the latter is Evolution Chamber, which kicked off its run in 2019 and has delivered powerful drum and bass releases ever since. Now, in 2025, the imprint is honoring its run so far while gearing up for another massive year by releasing 5 Years Of Evolution Chamber.

This 42-track compilation features some of the best and brightest who have called Evolution Chamber home over the past five years. Found inside are tunes from artists that include Joe Ford, Malux, Ekwols, Burr Oak, Akrom, Impex, Lance Dance, Chook, Skrimor, and A.Way, among others. And there was no doubt that Evolution Chamber founders Task Horizon, Magnetude, and Receptor would also have tracks present.

Instead of playing favorites, the tracklist for 5 Years Of Evolution Chamber is in alphabetical order, and there are so many gems to unearth that have dropped on the label. Volatile Cycle, Dropset, and Konquest’s powerful tune “Alone” kicks everything off in the lead spot. From there, you’ll hear other stunners like Receptor’s “Avocado,” Skrimor’s “Club Girl,” Task Horizon’s “Disintegrate,” Ekwols‘ “Drowning,” and Magnetude’s “I’m For You.”

Tunes found later on in the compilation like Akrom and Martina May’s “The Last Day,” Joe Ford and KNARS‘ “Unforgiven,” Smooth’s “Scorpion,” and Malux’s “Nosedive” all help show off the forward-thinking styles that Evolution Chamber has championed. It’s a fantastic trip back in time as the label begins its journey into 2025, and we can’t wait to see what they’re up to next.
