Yellow Claw Drop 'House Music For Stripclubs' Under €URO TRA$H alias

As a duo, Yellow Claw have always pushed boundaries, whether with trap, moombahton, dubstep, or, more recently, hardstyle. Both Amsterdam Trap Music and Amsterdam Twerk Music will live on as extremely influential albums of the 2010s era. With their label Barong Family, founded in 2014 and now boasting over 600 releases in 10 years, their influence in dance music continues to be massive.

Now the duo, under their alias €URO TRA$H (pronounced Euro trash), have released their second album, House Music For Stripclubs. It follows the project’s debut album, ¥€$, last year.

While they introduced the alias during the pandemic, the goal with €URO TRA$H has always been to “bring back the origins of the rave.” Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of strip clubs and the wild frontier of contemporary online entertainment, the album offers a fresh take on house music. It’s the high-energy sort of 13-track journey that you’d expect from the duo.

The firsthand experiences of longtime collaborator OGAQUAFINA, a former dancer-turned-rapper, brought authenticity to numbers like “1F2F” on the first album, and now on opening track “10 Outta 10.” Each concept on this album is full of energy, featuring additional collaborations from FEYI, Bok Nero, and Syaqish.

From catchy synths and basslines to groovy drums and raw, unpolished vocals, the album delivers an underground feel that’s both gritty and captivating. Each track lives up to the album’s title, having clearly been made for huge crowds and festivals. Standouts include “What You Looking For” and the previously mentioned “10 Outta 10.”

A large part of the album was crafted during their tours in the United States, when off days became opportunities to meet artists or anyone with a with compelling story or unique voice. The other half was composed during a music retreat in Bali, Indonesia. This added to an otherwise very unique effort.

As they look ahead, Yellow Claw is set to bring the €URO TRA$H experience live to audiences with their first official tour across the United States in early 2025.
