John Summit, Subtronics, and Tape B floor it with the release of their highly-anticipated house meets dubstep collaboration, “Gas Pedal.”

While many artists over the past decade have seemingly stuck within the confines of their genres, the new era of the scene has fully embraced breaking down barriers and switching things up. House phenom John Summit and bass artists Subtronics and Tape B are helping lead that charge. Today, the three artists have joined forces to drop off their massive collaborative tune, “Gas Pedal.”

These three artists have become known for shaking up genre norms in the scene. John Summit has gone beyond his house grooves to embrace dubstep and drum and bass, Subtronics has dabbled beyond the bass-heavy realm, and Tape B has incorporated a range of styles in his work. So, who better to come together to put their spin on the iconic hip-hop track by Sage The Gemini and melt minds along the way?

“Gas Pedal” was first played at John Summit’s Experts Only showcase during Miami Music Week and has since sparked a fire in the scene. There’s no doubt that if you were at these artists’ sets at Coachella, Shambhala, and more this season, you heard it booming from the speakers, and it was extra special at EDC Las Vegas, where they performed it together during Subtronics’ set at kineticFIELD.

You can hear each artist’s style dripping throughout “Gas Pedal.” The tune starts with a hypnotic house-fueled intro that fits Summit’s sets’ ambiance before it slows down in the approach of the deep drop that will leave you gasping for air as the bass hits you straight in the chest. Whether you’re a fan of house or dubstep, you’ll find yourself vibing to this one in no time.

Listen to “Gas Pedal” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more from John Summit, Subtronics, and Tape B by following them on social media.
