Walker & Royce Place the Final Touch on ‘No Big Deal’

Walker & Royce have officially completed their latest album on Dirtybird Records with three fresh dancefloor weapons!

Dirtybird mainstays Walker & Royce have officially crossed the finish line on the road to No Big Deal. It began in November with the release of Part 1. Two months later, Part 2 surfaced amid their US album tour. After one final single release in the form of “Might Just” with James Patterson, the flock now have three more tracks to wrap their ears around.

“Fatalistic Groove” is the first to pop from the pack, featuring Barney Bones, a Grammy-nominated music maker and actor from South Central LA. He spits out verses with relaxed vitality, complimenting the shadow-soaked essence of the track.

Later in the long-player, listeners will land on “Motivashun” featuring comedian and musician Reggie Watts. This track is quirkier than the aforementioned, buzzing the brain with bright top-end tones and ever-changing vocals. Hopping to the end, rising star ZOF enters the fray, lending sugary sweet vocals to the ethereal drum and bass offering “Did You Mean It.”

Putting the pieces together, No Big Deal keeps the duo’s unhinged creative personality under a magnifying glass, a vibe we’ve been faithfully chasing since Self Help.

Tonight, the guys celebrate with Justin Jay, Dances, and Bleu Clair at The Concourse Project in Austin. Get there early for a first-come-first-serve listening party and BBQ. The fun doesn’t stop there, either! Head to Walker & Royce’s website for updated tour dates and tickets.

Without further ado, grab your copy of No Big Deal on your favorite music platform or stream the album on Spotify!
