Breakaway Music Festival’s Minnesota debut will include performances by Illenium, Kaskade, Knock 2, and more!
Breakaway Music Festival has unveiled a star-studded lineup for its Minnesota debut this summer, adding another can’t-miss event to festival season. It takes place June 28 and 29 at St. Paul’s Allianz Field, and attendees can expect a two-day spectacle with a variety of up-and-coming and all-star artists sure to delight music lovers.
The inaugural fest came out swinging with an impressive roster of DJs including trap artists ISOxo and “dashstar*” producer Knock2, who’s fresh off his appearance at Ultra Music Festival. Breakaway veterans Illenium and Kaskade are two fan-favorite headliners sure to draw in massive crowds. The already stacked list of headliners is rounded out by dubstep duo SLANDER, who will keep fans headbanging all night long.
With a diverse and robust undercard, there’s something for all festival goers to enjoy. Standouts include bass house DJ Dr.Fresch, Matroda, and Frank Walker.
Bass music lovers will be thrilled by the inclusion of Tape B. Named AllTime EDM’s Breakout Artist of the Year for 2023, his CarTunes mix series has garnered notoriety among the bass community.
If house is more your style, stutter house producer it’s murph is a can’t-miss act. Best known for his breakout song “Food for the Soul,” it’s murph will captivate the dancefloor with his unique production style.
Minnesota won’t be the first big conquest for Breakaway Music Festival outside of its home turf. Its flagship event first took place at the Ohio Expo Center in Colombus in 2016, and 2022 marked its Bay Area debut at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
