Justice have also shared the first two singles from their upcoming album, HYPERDRAMA.

Justice have been revving up their hype engine for a new album, and now they’ve finally shared more information on the upcoming effort. HYPERDRAMA arrives by way of Ed Banger Records on April 26.

This is usually about the time an artist shares the lead single from their upcoming album. Justice have done their fans one better. The French blog house duo have delivered two entries from the tracklist of the effort: “Generator” and “One Night/All Night” featuring Tame Impala.

“One Night/All Night” is markedly sleeker and more conventionally produced than famous Justice tracks such as “Genesis” and “D.A.N.C.E.” Tame Impala’s heavily filtered vocal seems to sneak in from the high end, filling up a broad swath of the arrangement after about a minute into the runtime.

“Generator,” on the other hand, hits harder and evokes the sort of nostalgia longtime Justice fans will surely appreciate. The track, which the duo teased after the turn of the year, still benefits from a fair amount of gloss, however. Its clever panning effects and symphonic flourishes update the duo’s sound to be more current.

Justice is comprised of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, who first garnered attention for their project thanks to a remix of “Never Be Alone” by Simian. Their rendition of the track ended up on increasingly significant labels until it appeared on their landmark 2007 breakout album † (also known as Cross).

The duo’s debut effort vaulted them into global commodity status, landing them on lineups for gatherings such as T in the Park, Fuji Rock Festival, and Coachella. Last year, Ed Banger Records Founder Busy P compared the music on the upcoming HYPERDRAMA to that of Cross. “Listening to Cross, I had goosebumps – I loved each and every note of this record, and I have goosebumps when I’m listening to the forthcoming Justice album, too,” he said.

Presave HYPERDRAMA by Justice ahead of its April 26 release, and check out “Generator,” and “One Night/All Night” below in the meantime!
