TEG MJR Eire is gearing up for the debut of SILO Dublin with planned showcases from elrow, Boiler Room, Defected, and more.
Dublin’s electronic music scene is about to undergo a seismic shift with the arrival of SILO, a club nestled in the historic RDS complex, which acts as the city’s cultural hub, regularly hosting sporting events, exhibitions, and concerts. The venue, which is the brainchild of TEG MJR Eire, aims to breathe fresh life into the city’s nightlife, filling a void for local electronic music enthusiasts.
Right out of the gate, SILO is setting the bar incredibly high, curating a lineup of shows for their grand opening that are nothing short of spectacular. Some of the world’s most iconic clubbing brands and artists are converging to herald a new era for the local scene in Dublin. “SILO is an idea we are very excited about, which fills in a massive gap within the Irish events scene,” said Julian O’Brien of TEG MJR Eire. “Attendees can expect cutting-edge production, unlike anything they’ve seen on the island of Ireland before.”
This includes professional party throwers elrow, known for their immersive and intricate events, who are returning to Ireland after an absence of over five years. Boiler Room follows suit, renowned for its intimate live-streamed sets, and will mark their first showcase in Ireland in just as long. House heads and disco lovers will exult when legendary record label Defected makes an appearance for a special night at SILO as well that month. Rounding out this impressive roster are some phenomenal artists, including deep house pioneer Kerri Chandler, the distinguished Claptone, and esteemed Brazilian producer Vintage Culture, all curating their own nights.
SILO is poised to become the epicenter of electronic music in Dublin: an amalgamation of iconic brands, legendary artists, and an innovative clubbing experience that will set a new standard. With doors opening in October, the venue invites all music lovers to attend. Head to their website for more details on future shows and announcements.
