Sir Roscoe Spins a Stellar Spring Mix

Fresh off his appearance at EDC Las Vegas, Sir Roscoe drops off a solid dose of house grooves that will bring more warmth to the spring season.

Sir Roscoe, also known as $coe, has crystallized his place in the scene throughout the years with a discography that’s chock-full of fresh and original sounds. Whether it’s minimalistic techno grooves like his collaboration with Ghostea, “Get It,” or more melodic soundscapes like those that permeate his Melted and Smiling EP, he’s made quite the impression solely by virtue of letting his full artistic expression shine through his music. No matter what specific vibe he’s looking to curate on a given release, Sir Roscoe is someone who clearly has a knack for tapping into frequencies that cut deep and are dripping with soul.

The burgeoning DJ and producer has carved out quite the place for himself in the underground scene, consistently throwing down jaw-dropping sets in clubs and warehouses all over the US, from New York to California. His tunes resemble sonic depictions of late nights in the club, dancing the night away with friends and strangers, and seeing him spin in real-time is a treat for all who get to bear witness. But clubs and underground venues aren’t the only spots you’ll find him, as he recently worked his magic at EDC Las Vegas, where he lit up the dancefloor at an Insomniac Passport Lounge.

You can always look to $coe for a reliable source of top-shelf dance grooves, and he’s delivered that once again on his latest EP, Nephew Tommy. This two-tracker, which finds its home on Cool Contest Records, features forward-thinking, acid-infused beats that house and techno aficionados will adore. Following his latest release, he gave us even more of a taste of what he can do behind the decks by crafting a mix for our Spring Sound Waves series. This mix will add a layer of heat to whatever weather you’re working with this spring season.
