If you couldn’t already feel the summer sun beginning to creep down from the sky above, perhaps the latest announcement from Meow Wolf will do the trick. Today, they revealed some massive news surrounding Vortex Festival, their collaborative event with Live Nation that features banging music, immersive art, tasty food, and more. Last year brought a fantastic experience to Denver, and this year is shaping up to be another epic edition when it takes place at The JunkYard on August 25-27.
The 2023 edition of Vortex Festival already had some hype swirling around it on Sunday when GRiZ played a free pop-up show with less than two hours’ notice, where he announced that he’d be headlining the festival. He’s set to take the stage on Saturday and Sunday for a pair of performances that fans won’t want to miss, while Remi Wolf will headline Friday’s festivities.
The list of impressive artists playing Vortex doesn’t stop there. Friday will bring the likes of Claude VonStroke, Dennis Ferrer, Jadu Heart, Nikki Nair, QRTR, and more to the stage. Saturday offers up a dose of dynamic sounds with Armani White, BLOND:ISH, Catz ‘N Dogz, Jacques Greene, Jerro, ford., Zingara and more slated to play along with a Brownies & Lemonade All-Stars takeover. And Saturday will deliver even more quality tunes from The Funk Hunters, Chasewest, Dusky, DJ Minx, Justin Martin, Mindchatter, TOKiMONSTA, and more.
Music is just one of the aspects of Vortex Festival as The JunkYard will play host to off-the-wall performers, chill zones, experiential art, and plenty more surprises that Meow Wolf has in store. Single-day tickets start at $59.50, three-day passes start at $219.50, and an enhanced experience option will also be available for anyone who wants to party in style this summer.
