Klur Will Make You Feel the Power of Spring With This Mix

Swedish producer Klur spins up a beautiful mix that will sweep you off your feet to help mark the start of spring.

Patrik Kindvall, aka Klur, has only been releasing music in the realm of melodic house and progressive since 2020 but has already won over the hearts of a growing, global fanbase. His gorgeous soundscapes that are filled with emotion-fueled, dynamic qualities have found a home on Colorize and Enhanced Music as he’s carved out his niche in the scene. The captivating nature of his releases, like his debut album Visions, led to him becoming the third-most-played artist on SiriusXM Chill in 2022, a pretty remarkable feat for such a fresh artist in the scene.

Visions was an album that was warmly received by fans and tastemakers alike and helped Klur continue to reach greater heights. “It was a nice surprise since I did not have any expectation of what the reaction would be,” the Swedish artist said when asked about the response. “I’m usually already on to the next release in my head, and I’m always looking forward to what’s next with my music, but it is nice sometimes to stop and be grateful and appreciate what I have released.”

The original tunes that arrived on the album are incredible, but Klur looked to other artists to put their spin on some of the tracks as well that have begun to land this year. In February, Fejká led the way with a cut of “Apologue” and Polar Inc. twisted “Heart To Heart,” and in March, Trilucid transformed “Between” as well, but there’s still more to come. “There will be a total of ten, one for every track,” Klur added. “The final release date for the full remix album will be April 28 and the next one is a beautiful remix by Faodail that will be out on April 7.”

Looking back on what helped drive him to where he is today in the melodic, progressive realm, Klur said, “I think it was an evolution and rise in the quality of releases, and also an evolution within me that came around 2018-2019 that inspired me and drew my attention to this genre.” And while he continues to further define his sound in 2023, the path is still one that’s winding. “I don’t have a specific plan outlined,” Klur stated about the rest of the year. “All I know is that there will be more new music and live shows.”

Until then, Klur is going to embrace every drop of sunshine that the spring season offers. Telling everyone to “Go outside and enjoy the sun and nature” over the next few months, he also provided a soundtrack to your next adventure for the first mix in this year’s Spring Sound Waves series. Featuring that Faodail remix of “With You” that’s due out on April 7, along with other selections from his discography and those from the likes of Joseph Ray, Julian Schwarz, and more, it’s a perfect mix to spin when you’re vibing out all season long.
