Austin City Limits returns to Zilker Park for back-to-back weekends this October with a lineup featuring Flume, Zhu, Sofi Tukker, and more!
Since breaking onto the festival circuit back in 2002, Austin City Limits has been a must-attend event for music lovers around the globe. Following in the footsteps of Coachella, ACL expanded to two weekends back in 2013 and has maintained the double-weekend maximization ever since. With a handful of artists only playing on select weekends each year, fans can cater to a unique festival experience for themselves instead of the same selection of acts for each weekend. ACL truly has something for everyone, delivering top-tier artists from nearly every genre, including electronic, hip-hop, pop, rock, and beyond.
As ACL returns to Austin’s Zilker Park on October 7-9 and October 14-16, they’ve packed in a massive lineup to boot. Set to headline the festival this year are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, P!nk, Kacey Musgrave, SZA, Paramore, Lil Nas X, and The Chicks, along with Flume. He’s set to deliver his psychedelic catalog of dance classics and increasingly left-field productions as he rides the wave of his forthcoming album that’s set to drop later this month.
Speaking of dance music, while ACL leans heavier into other genres they are also delivering a proper dose of electronic music for those heading to Texas this fall. Mainstays like Diplo will return to ACL in 2022, as well as fan favorites Zhu and Oliver Tree. The good vibes will be in high supply throughout the weekend when Big Gigantic and Sofi Tukker take the stage while incendiary performer Big Wild also lands his well-deserved spot on ACL’s massive lineup. Additionally, Purple Disco Machine will have the masses grooving from the very first beat to the last during his disco-fueled house set.
Tickets for Austin City Limits 2022 are now on sale, with layaway plans available for all ticket types. Will you be making the journey to Texas for Austin City Limits this year? Which weekend do you prefer? Let us know in the comments.
