Swiss DJ and producer Deetron has proved his passion for dance music as he brings a funky flare into the hearts of house and techno lovers. Now, he returns to Hot Creations with Glass EP, which showcases his innovative style that is sure to get feet moving and helps celebrate everyone’s return to dancefloors around the world after the global lockdowns that we all just experienced.

Out now for your listening pleasure, this two-tracker begins with its title track, “Glass,” which presents a crystal clear flow. Deetron seamlessly guides listeners through the melody with sweeping piano keys “to take control” of the “mind” and “soul” to motivate listeners to move to the beat. The distorted vocal is deep and dark, offering a contrasting tone to the looped melody and its hi-hats. This tech-house track is one to keep the excitement going all day, while the instrumental version is a fantastic blend to cool listeners off by a warm poolside.

Then, Deetron shows off his resounding kick drums as the rhythm rumbles the mind of listeners as they close their eyes for a taste that will “Come On Back.” The B-side brings a riveting soundscape filled with retro elements from disco that are paired with those from the present-day tech house scene to take this one to the next level.

First and foremost, the tracks are effective DJ-Tools for the dancefloor so basically the inspiration was wanting to make people dance. Both tracks were made/finalised when all dancefloors were shut due to the pandemic so I reckon the desire to return to the clubs can be heard in the tunes as well.
