For the third year Moonrise Festival will take place in Baltimore, Maryland on August 6th and 7th. The last two years the festival has doubled in size and it just keeps growing. Taking place at the Pimlico Race Course, this festival promised to bring some big names in the electronic dance music scene. The festivals founders Steez Promo and Glow DC have just released the Phase One lineup including names such as: Bassnectar, Tiësto and Zedd; plus top acts including Andy C, Bro Safari, Excision, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion, Gramatik, Griz, Jauz, Marshmello, NGHTMRE, Oliver Heldens, STS9, Tchami, Tritonal, Tyler The Creator, Yellow Claw, Young Thug. It’s hard to imagine what else they can add, but they’ve promised a Phase Two coming later this month. If you were looking for an east coast festival (like I was) then I can’t wait to see you there!
