Q-dance is bringing Defqon.1 back in 2022 and it all starts with the broadcast of The Release on March 10 to unveil the lineup and more.
After a few long years with strict restrictions and juggling with lockdowns, The Netherlands is finally easing almost all COVID restrictions in the country. With the easing of restrictions, nightclubs can go back to normal operating hours that were in place pre-pandemic and the door for festivals to return has opened as well. This is great news for promoters all over The Netherlands including Dutch giant, Q-dance, who is set to bring Defqon.1 back on June 23-26 this year.
In true celebratory style, Q-dance is pulling out all the stops to mark the return of this beloved festival centered on the harder styles – and it all begins with The Release. Set to take place on Thursday, March 10, this broadcast will dive into the crucial details that many are craving for the first-ever, four-day edition of Defqon.1. Hosted by Audiofreq and E-Life, The Release will feature the reveal of the full lineup, festival programming, and this year’s anthem. Further, it will also show the Defqon. 1 At Home 2021 after movie, never-before-seen footage from some of the previous editions of the festival, and some more surprises.
Weekend Warriors should get ready because this also marks the relaunch of Defqon.1 2022 ticket sales, with the remaining tickets becoming available that day. The Release will take place on March 10 from 11AM – 12PM PT (8PM – 9PM CET) via the Q-dance Network app, the Q-dance network website, and the Q-dance YouTube channel.
