The FEMME HOUSE TAKEOVER TOUR will make its way to 12 cities in the US with daytime workshops and club shows featuring LP Giobbi.
Co-founded by multi-hyphenate artist LP Giobbi, FEMME HOUSE is a non-profit that provides support to women and other marginalized gender expressions in music. Launched in 2019, they seek to create more equitable opportunities in technical aspects of music through educational resources, scholarships, community, propagating visual representation, and offering professional development opportunities.
Together, LP Giobbi and FEMME HOUSE proudly announce The FEMME HOUSE TAKEOVER TOUR, which will feature a unique two-in-one experience with nighttime club shows and daytime music workshops. Starting off on February 25 in Philadelphia, the tour will make its way across the US stopping in 12 cities including Brooklyn, Atlanta, Seattle, and Los Angeles before it wraps up in Denver on April 9.
At each stop, LP Giobbi and Ableton Certified Trainers will host free introductory workshops on music production and DJing. Professional development events co-hosted by She Is The Music will also be held in select cities. Additionally, immersive online courses will be offered on a “pay what you can” basis with $1 of every ticket directly supporting FEMME HOUSE. And if that wasn’t enough, attendees can also apply for the FEMME HOUSE Scholarship for BIPOC Creators, which provides four artists free gear and a year of one-on-one mentorship.
When I first started out, I learned that only about 2% of charting producers were non-male. It’s what drove me to build FEMME HOUSE, and combine the power of education with the freedom of the dance floor. The FEMME HOUSE Takeover Tour will innovate the concert-going experience by offering free production workshops during the day and an epic club party highlighting a gender expansive lineup at night, providing the education, opportunity, and visual representation critical to changing that 2% stat.

Following the workshops, there will be club shows with Queen of Piano House, LP Giobbi herself. South London’s Bklava will provide support on select dates. During the tour, FEMME HOUSE will also release a compilation with Insomniac Records which is set to feature their alumni as well as new artists.
