Afrojack, Marshmello, and Timmy Trumpet are set to headline SAGA Festival as it heads to a new venue in Bucharest in June 2022.
Although it might be one of the newest festivals in the scene, SAGA Festival has already made some major waves with a stunning lineup and massive stages during their debut edition in Romania. First announced back in 2019, they were forced to delay the launch due to the pandemic but roared into 2021 with an experience that few other festivals have been able to offer. Now, SAGA Festival has revealed the initial details for their sophomore edition as they plan to return to Bucharest on June 3-5.
While limited details have surfaced about SAGA Festival 2022, the news that’s surfaced has been pretty huge as the festival announced that it will be moving from its initial home at Romaero SA to the larger-than-life Bucharest National Arena. Not only will this take place inside the arena itself, but will also see Insomniac and ALDA expand to the surrounding park area to make this a full-on immersive experience for all who enter its gates.
Additionally, their move to a new venue will be celebrated in style on December 1, Romania’s National Day, which will see Du Mad and Kov perform at the venue with a dramatic fireworks display. And if you can’t make it to Bucharest to catch the action then you’re in luck as the entire show will be broadcast online as well.
Further, Insomniac and ALDA also dropped the names of its first three headliners with Afrojack, Marshmello, and Timmy Trumpet set to take the stage. Plenty more artists are due to be revealed in the coming months as well as they fill up the lineup that will grace the six stages featured at the festival, so stay tuned for more details.
