Evalution and Steller just dropped an absolute heater on Bassrush Records dubbed “FL Sound” and curated a playlist of Florida’s finest!

Florida might be most well-known for the heavy amount of house, techno, and trance that have graced the state over the years, but their bass music scene has flourished during this time as well. Artists hailing from the Sunshine State have pushed out some of the wonkiest and heavy tunes to the delight of headbangers, while festivals like EDC Orlando, Ultra Miami, and Forbidden Kingdom help champion the sound as well. Now, two of Florida’s rising stars, Evalution and Steller, have joined forced to bring forth a fresh tune dubbed “FL Sound” to further prove that point.

Released ahead of their respective sets at EDC Orlando this year on Bassrush Records, “FL Sound” is filled to the brim with funky sax, ragga-leaning vocals, and of course, an onslaught of wubs that will warp your mind. You’ll definitely want to “get ready for the Florida sound” before listening to this one as it’s sure to make you put on your bass face and look at your friends in disbelief when the drops hit your speakers.

Speaking about her love for Florida’s scene and the celebratory nature of the track, Steller said “There are so many amazingly talented producers in Florida, and as Floridians ourselves, we wanted to make a track that pays homage to that in a way.” And to further showcase just how epic the Florida bass scene has become, these Evalution and Steller curated a playlist featuring fellow artists who call the state home and those who influenced their sound as well such as Blunts & Blondes, Nitti Gritti, TVBOO, Hairitage, and AVELLO, among others.

Angelica [Steller] and I wanted to throw together a takeover full of some of Florida’s best bass producers. We also included some non-FL artists that both of our styles have been inspired by. Hope you guys enjoy!
