Since launching STMPD RCRDS back in 2016, Martin Garrix has continued to further his mission of putting artists first and delivering epic tunes.

On March 4, 2016, Martin Garrix officially unveiled STMPD RCRDS to the world. The globally-renowned artist looked to create a new home for other producers in the dance music scene who were open-minded, innovative, and focused on creating quality tunes. And it’s safe to say that he’s succeeded in that mission over the past five years.

Since its inception, STMPD RCRDS has released a whopping 400 tracks from 250 artists in a range of different styles and genres ranging from tech house and electro house to future bass and progressive. Artists that have graced the label to drop some heaters include everyone from Dillon Francis and Julian Jordan to DubVision and Zonderling, and of course Martin Garrix as well for good measure.

While the STMPD RCRDS releases and annual mixtape are some of the most notable to surface from the imprint, they’ve also gone above and beyond with their stage takeovers as well. Artists from the STMPD Family have graced the stage at some of the world’s most iconic festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Lollapalooza Berlin. They also shifted their focus to the virtual realm during the pandemic, with their own standalone livestream events as well as appearances during other broadcasts as well.

It feels very unreal, but I’m super excited and proud to celebrate the platform we built together, thanks to the amazing artists, team, and of course the support from the fans all around the world. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

Martin Garrix

Driving forward with the message of spreading positivity and unity through the universal language of music, the sky is the limit for Martin Garrix and the STMPD RCRDS team. Watch some of the highlights from over the past five years on Instagram, leave your favorite memory in the comments, and make sure to follow them on social media for the latest updates!

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
