After a successful charity stream in Miami, David Guetta aims to gather more COVID-19 donations by performing in The Big Apple.

From performing a two-hour UNITED AT HOME set off a balcony of the Icon Brickell in downtown Miami to most recently renting the historic LIV Nightclub in downtown Miami for his EDC Virtual Rave-A-Thon set, there’s no stopping David Guetta during the coronavirus pandemic. His first fundraiser efforts in Miami raised more than $750,000 for COVID-19 relief charities and drew more than 25 million viewers worldwide.

Now, he’s announced that his next performance will take place in New York on May 30, with the exact location not being revealed until the day of his set. Taking place promptly after the city’s “daily clap” for frontline and healthcare workers at 7 PM EDT, David Guetta is sure to make us all move from the safety of our rave caves.

“I’m excited to announce I will host another live stream to raise money for charity and help battle the virus. New York is one of my favorite cities and it’s an honor to be able to do something to help the city during this difficult time. We’re planning something special that can be enjoyed from homes around the world. As a DJ, the crowd is the most important part of any show and even though we can’t be together in a club or at a festival, we can use this time to come together in new ways and help those who need it most.”

Featured on the stream will be guest appearances from New York City’s First Responders and other special surprise guests. New Yorkers are highly encouraged to join his fans from around the world to watch the performance safely from home as it will not be amplified like the Miami rooftop set. Viewers can tune in on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, VK, and TikTok to stream the French DJ’s set.

Much like Miami, David Guetta’s live stream performance will benefit both local and international charities including the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Feeding America, the World Health Organization, and Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris. Donations to any of these organizations are welcome on his website.
