Dirtybird Campout is the latest festival to announce that it will not be taking place in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The postponement or cancellation notice for upcoming music events that began in early March has continued into April as the world reels from the coronavirus pandemic. Now, after postponements were made by major festivals like EDC Las Vegas and others like Lightning in a Bottle were cancelled, beloved event Dirtybird Campout has announced that they too will be postponing the festival until 2021.

In a statement that was emailed by Dirtybird to their loyal flock of followers, they said: “This is one of the hardest decisions we have had to make, but we have decided to postpone Dirtybird Campout West Coast until October 2021. With all the uncertainty and the large number of festivals that have already moved to October 2020, we no longer feel that Dirtybird Campout can shine the way it should.”

The new dates of the festival will now be October 15-17, 2021. We anticipate that it will be another weekend full of amazing beats, unreal vibes, and plenty of whacky fun on the dancefloor with a stacked lineup. And if you want to know why we love it so much, read our review from 2019 for a taste of what Dirtybird Campout is all about.

Additionally, Dirtybird has announced that they’ll be throwing their all at the debut edition of CampINN that is set to take place over Labor Day Weekend in Orlando. So keep your eyes peeled for more information on that upcoming event.

Stay tuned for more information about other cancellations and postponements from around the world as we continue to follow the impact coronavirus has on the festival season this year.
