Toronto’s iconic concert series Electric Island returns for summer 2020 with a new waterfront location and five days of dancing.
Known for its eclectic lineup of international house & techno artists, Electric Island returns for its eighth season in Toronto. After having to relocate to Woodbine Park due to flooding on Toronto Island in 2019 the festival has found a new home at Ontario Place, West Island this year!
Electric Island kicks off on May 17 and spans over four weeks with five days total, so mark your calendars for July 1, August 8, and September 5 & 6 as well. The new waterfront location will feature three stages, a hippie market featuring unique clothing, jewelry, and more, food trucks to keep you nourished while dancing, and the magnificent sight of the Cinesphere in the background.
Each year the festival brings a huge lineup along with good people and amazing vibes. While we’re not sure who will be taking the stage, previous editions of Electric Island have been headlined by artists such as Dubfire, Hot Since 82, Claude VonStroke, and Seth Troxler. Stay tuned for this year’s lineup of premier House & Techno artists that will be sure to keep attendees dancing all day.
