The newest festival to hit the Hawaiian Islands, E Komo Mai, is bringing a blend of house music vibes and programming centered on culture and sustainability.
Already thinking about shaking off that winter snow and heading to a warmer destination that will feature some quality house music? You’re in luck because there’s a brand new festival that’s set to debut in 2020 on the Hawaiian island of Oahu that will have you daydreaming immediately: E Komo Mai Festival.
In Hawaiian, E Komo Mai means “All Are Welcome” and while it acts as the name for this new festival it also represents their ethos as well. Set to take place on February 17-20 and centered around the Queen Kapiolani Hotel in Waikiki, the festival will bring diverse programming centered around music, culture, and sustainability.
During the daytime programming, attendees will be able to participate in eco-minded and cultural activities to expand their minds. At night, the focus turns to the beats that make us move as a massive warehouse will be transformed into a jungle paradise with Funktion 1 sound, projection mapping, and a liquor license that will carry things into the early hours of the morning. Additionally, they’ve announced their initial lineup featuring legends like Doc Martin and DJ Dan, as well as Kill Frenzy, Sacha Robotti, and Mikey Lion.
4-Day GA and VIP Passes are available now for a limited time at “Had Me At Aloha” pricing of $199(+fees) and $349(+fees). Hotel accommodations, group packages, and more are also available for those looking to make their entire experience as hassle-free as possible.
Tickets and hotel packages for the debut edition of E Komo Mai Festival are available now via Tixr. Head over to their website for more details and let us know if you’re planning to attend!
