A State Of Trance Announces Return To Rotterdam In 2027

A State of Trance is set to return to Rotterdam Ahoy next February, bringing two nights of trance from the scene’s finest artists across multiple stages.

This year marked another massive milestone for Armin van Buuren‘s A State of Trance (ASOT). The radio show, which is nearing its 1,300th episode, celebrated its 25th anniversary this past February, drawing thousands to the Netherlands for a magical, trance-fueled experience. Now, the legendary artist is getting ready for the brand’s next soiree, set for February 26-27.

That weekend, A State of Trance will return to its stomping grounds at Rotterdam Ahoy, formerly known as Ahoy Rotterdam. Those heading to the festival will be treated to two nights of trance, including Armin’s signature five-hour performance and beats across five stages in the expansive arena.

The first night kicks the weekend off in style with the aforementioned performance from Armin van Buuren. Attendees will be taken on a journey through various styles of trance, including everything from the genre’s biggest classics to new tunes and unreleased material. Two other stages will boom with beats, giving everyone a chance to feel the energy as the festivities begin.

Then, the experience will be taken to another level on Saturday, as Rotterdam Ahoy is transformed into a true trance destination. The full day of music will see all five stages come to life, with Armin van Buuren starting the show with an exclusive vinyl set. This performance is limited to those who purchase an Early Access ticket or are staying at the official A State of Trance Hotel.

The official A State of Trance Hotel is returning this year, offering two- and three-night packages for those who want to make the most of their experience. Attendees staying at the official hotel gain elevated access to amenities, including first dibs on daytime activities and more. Other hotels are also available for lodging through the sale. Weekend tickets aren’t automatically included in hotel packages, so make sure to purchase those for everyone staying in the same room.
