Patrick Topping Drops His Two-Track Debut On Metamorfosi

**UK-born DJ and producer Patrick Topping takes his talents to Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi Records for his second release of the year, Love Me.**

Patrick Topping has become a significant force in the UK house scene over the years, starting DJing and producing in the late 2000s, before his 2014 breakthrough “Forget” on Hot Creations made him a globally recognized name. Since then, the Newcastle-born DJ and producer has founded his Trick imprint and toured the world at events such as Creamfields, The Warehouse Project, DC10, and Hï Ibiza. Now, he’s continuing his ride in 2026 by dropping his second major release of the year, the two-tracker Love Me on Joseph Capriati‘s Metamorfosi Records.

The title track of the EP is the more groovy of the two. Catchy chords and a huge vocal hook sit above synth lines and a heavy bassline, fusing disco sounds with a sense of familiarity. Perfect for a daytime party. While the B-side, “Here We Go,” takes a different approach entirely. Punchy drums, a rolling low-end, and rap vocals combine into a peak-time club weapon. The two tracks complement each other well, with no better place than Metamorfosi.

The Love Me EP marks Topping’s debut on Metamorfosi, the label Joseph Capriati launched as his home for music, sitting in between house, techno, and groove-driven club culture. He has been leaning into a more focused, dancefloor-first direction so far this year, including the Pop That / Boom Shakalak on Cloonee‘s Hellbent Records, and this new release continues that momentum.

Beyond his label, which has helped break artists like Ewan McVicar, Ben Hemsley, and Hannah Laing, Patrick Topping is using 2026 to push into new sonic territory across a range of labels. With a packed summer ahead, including his own Trick event in Newcastle at the end of May, US dates throughout, and many Ibiza appearances, there are plenty of chances to catch him.
