Blending legendary beats with ethereal vocals, Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers and AURORA present their debut dance record as TOMORA.

Worlds collide in TOMORA, the electrifying new collaboration between The Chemical Brothers‘ Tom Rowlands and Norwegian artist AURORA. Born from a place of unbridled creativity, the project made its world debut on the polo fields at Coachella 2026.

Their first studio album, COME CLOSER, represents a fully formed band identity, blending Rowlands’ legendary electronic production with AURORA’s mesmerizing vocals. Out now via Fontana, these 12 tracks are designed for the dancefloor, pulsing with the energy of a true melding of great minds.

Leading up to the full LP, a series of singles were strategically released, offering fans a tantalizing preview of the duo’s sound. The rollout began with “Ring The Alarm,” a track that initially kept the artists’ identities a mystery while delivering a bold command to listen closely. This set the tone for the album’s signature style: a powerful blend of Rowlands’ crunchy, distorted production and AURORA’s hypnotic vocals.

These elements reach a fever pitch on the title track, “Come Closer,” where hypnotic melodies and bass-heavy synths achieve the ultimate musical fusion. The album wouldn’t be complete without “Somewhere Else,” the cinematic club track that first resulted from their collaboration. It’s the one that started it all.

This is our album ‘COME CLOSER’, it is everything we dreamt of. We made it without obligation or expectation, just a joy in creation. It’s the sound where we meet, the landing zone of our musical escape pods. It is a special place to us. We hope you dig it as much as we do.

TOMORA

COME CLOSER is a masterclass in emotional electronica, radiating a spirit of pure experimentation. To celebrate this unique collaboration, the album is available in both streaming and physical formats. Collectors can choose from three distinct vinyl variants — White, Pink Nebula, and Total Eclipse — or opt for the “Celestial” CD edition. This LP stands as definitive proof that TOMORA is a truly special artistic partnership.

Building on the momentum of their Coachella 2026 debut, the duo have launched an extensive tour across Europe and Asia. Their upcoming schedule includes major festival appearances and headline dates in France, Poland, Turkey, and Japan, before they conclude the run with a final performance in Germany.

COME CLOSER is available for streaming on Spotify or your preferred platform. Visit the official TOMORA website to purchase tickets to their headline tour.
