Spency Be Channels His Love For UKG On Latest EP

**Spency Be drew inspiration from Europe when whipping up his latest two tracks in the studio for the Car Park EP, which is out now via AfterTraxx.**

When you look at artists who are primed for a massive breakout in the scene, you can’t help but mention Spency Be as part of the conversation. This Los Angeles-based DJ and producer has already begun to make his mark on the scene over the past few years by performing at underground events and major festivals along the way. Another standout has been his dynamic releases, which have spanned various styles influenced by his love for house, techno, UKG, and more. AfterTraxx has been a home for many of those tunes, and that’s where he’s returned to with the release of the Car Park EP.

The Car Park EP marks Spency Be’s second release of 2026, following January’s “Texas Twang,” a collaboration with Who Is Hush. While that first single of the year leans heavily into the techno realm and surges forward with energy, he’s flipped the script for the two-tracker by channeling his groovier, UK Garage-influenced side.

The EP’s title track kicks off the ride with its uptempo beat, layered vocal samples, and shadowy low-ends. Clocking in at 145 BPM, it’s a marriage of Spency Be’s signature fast-paced nature and his passion for European styles, which, when blended together, will assuredly make dancefloors explode with activity.

If you need a bit of a breather after the first leg of the ride, the second will help you chill out and find your groove. “What Can I Do” features an intoxicating blend of uplifting melodies and vocal samples over its bouncy beat, creating an atmosphere suited for anytime of day or night. Play this bumpin’ tune when you’re vibing at the beach or when you need a final push to get you past the finish line during a night out on the town.

I’ve been really inspired by the garage sound coming out of Europe lately. Car Park was written purely for the club—dark, groovy, and meant to be played loud late at night. What Can I Do is the opposite side of that world: more fun, euphoric, and something you’d play driving around during the day with the windows down. Together, they represent where I’m at right now.
