The John Summitverse has ample cause for excitement as 2025 draws to a close. A new album is on the way, along with a support tour and Ibiza residency.
There’s no denying that John Summit is a prominent fixture of the dance music landscape, with his name appearing on nearly every major festival lineup worldwide. His staggering fanbase apparently has much to look forward to in 2026, as he’s shared that another studio-length album, supporting tour, and Ibiza residency are all on the way.
John Summit (real name John Schuster) wrote that he will be “premiering 5 records at countdown & fresh start” on X, referring to the New Year’s celebrations in Los Angeles and San Francisco, respectively. He went on to tease the “full album debut at ultra,” suggesting that the release date of his upcoming effort will fall sometime on the Miami festival’s dates of March 27-29.
That’s not all. Schuster spoke of a “big ibiza residency incoming,” likely running within the White Isle’s extended summer season from May to October, 2026. It remains to be seen whether the partnership in question will see him return to Hï Ibiza, which hosted his Experts Only label takeovers in June, or venture into a different venue.
Last but not least, Schuster stoked fan interest for an “album production tour in the fall,” proclaiming that “we going all the fuck out in 2026.” He has not shared any dates, cities or venues for the upcoming run of dates at the time of writing.
