Tiësto teamed up with FORS to release “Bring Me To Life,” his first trance single since departing the genre years ago, while also teasing that an album is on the way.

Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto has been a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene for decades. From trance legend to club hero, he’s carved out a legacy that precedes itself by consistently pushing boundaries, evolving his sound, hosting larger-than-life performances, and fostering fresh talent. Tiësto has only continued to showcase that in recent years, and 2025 has been a special ride for his longtime fans as he began turning his attention back to the genre that made him famous: trance.

In May, Tiësto closed out kineticFIELD at EDC Las Vegas on Sunday with an In Search Of Sunrise set that gave the crowd a dose of trance, marking the first time he had dived deeply into the genre in decades. In July, it was revealed that he would headline Dreamstate SoCal with a full-on trance set, generating even more buzz. Today, he’s dropped his latest single and first trance record since his notable departure from the genre in 2009, “Bring Me To Life.”

Arriving after his social media channels were cleared out in recent days, “Bring Me To Life” is a glimpse into what Tiësto’s new trance sound is like as he dives into this new era. It sees the legendary artist deliver an atmospheric soundscape with sweeping melodies and further emotional power courtesy of singer-songwriter FORS.

This new direction for Tiësto was bolstered by his PRISMATIC show in Mexico City this past June, which featured euphoric, melodic moments that left the crowd hanging on every second. Those who make their way to the Pyramids of Giza in December will be treated to another dose of this unique show. Fans will also get a taste of what’s to come from his upcoming headline performance at Dreamstate SoCal on Saturday during the festival’s 10th anniversary.

“My connection to dance music has never been stronger,” said Tiësto. “Playing these new sounds live and feeling the energy from the crowd has been unbelievable! It’s pushed me into this new era and inspired the direction of both the single and the album. This moment feels more authentic and exciting than ever, and I can’t wait for all that’s to come.”

This new single and the upcoming shows aren’t the only exciting news for Tiësto‘s fans; in today’s Instagram post, he commented, “Album loading…,” sparking a buzz from those yearning for more details. Stay tuned for that to surface, hopefully soon, as the Dutch legend continues on his path back into the trance scene.

Listen to “Bring Me To Life” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more to come from Tiesto as he begins the rollout for his forthcoming album.
