Fresh off performing at Ultra Miami for the first time in a decade, Skrillex has dropped another surprise album for fans to feast their ears on.

Skrillex continues to stand tall among the legendary artists in the electronic music scene. The past decade and a half has seen him dominate much of the community with standout releases, sold-out shows, and special projects, all of which have added to his monumental career. Innovation has been the name of the game for Skrillex in recent years, and now, he’s dropped off one of his most forward-thinking albums yet.

Just a day before Skrillex was slated to perform at Ultra Miami for the first time in a decade, the beloved artist announced that new music was on the way. This news lit the scene on fire, with fans and fellow artists buzzing about what would come. Today, after throwing a private listening party as Miami Music Week came to a close, F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 has finally been released for the world to hear.

F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 is more of a mixtape than an album. There are 34 tracks, most of which are under two minutes long, and they all flow seamlessly from start to finish. Reinforcing the mixtape feel was how Skrillex delivered the album to fans: via a text message with a Dropbox link to the full album mix.

Press play on this album, and you’ll be thrown straight into some pure madness from Skrillex. After it’s proclaimed that “SKRILLEX IS DEAD,” you’re off to the races, running through tracks like “SPITFIRE” with HAWAII SLIM, “SLICKMAN,” “TEARS LOST DROP” with Sleepnet. and Joker, and “RECOVERY” with Space Laces.

Virtual Riot notably has two collaborations on the album that also bring Nakeesha into the mix, “WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING VIP” and “MIRCHI TEST.” Other standouts that show off his dynamic range include “ZEET NOISE” with Boys Noize and Dylan Brady, “DRUIDS” with G Jones, “BIGGY BAP” with Wuki, “SAN DIEGO VIP,” and “KORABU,” which features bgirl, PARISI, Varg2™, Whitearmor, Eurohead, and jamesjamesjames.

The historic nature of this album doesn’t just stop with how it was rolled out or the sheer volume of tracks found within it. F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 marks Skrillex’s final project with OWSLA/Atlantic Records, ending a 15-year-long run where he catapulted to superstardom in the scene. While his future and that of OWSLA remain a mystery, one thing is for sure – Skrillex will undoubtedly continue to surprise his fans for years to come.
