Me, DMVU, and Baby Weight are all spread across the country, so this EP is really an extended family affair, hence the name The Family Of Things. Both tracks are very vulnerable and emotive and reflective of how we as artists very much become each other’s chosen family through creating music together. It’s a very intimate thing to create music with another person. When it works well it’s almost like you have a psychic connection to one another and it creates something larger than the sum of its parts.
