Josh Wyatt will lead Avant Gardner into a new era as the company’s new CEO with plans to take its venues like The Brooklyn Mirage to even greater heights.

New York City’s premiere entertainment space, Avant Gardner, has made waves in the scene for years. The most recent season of shows at their venues—The Brooklyn Mirage, The Great Hall, and The Kings Hall—featured top-tier talent and drew sold-out crowds. Today, they’re continuing to grow with the announcement that they’ve hired their first-ever CEO, Josh Wyatt.

Jost Wyatt is no stranger to the entertainment world. Prior to being hired by Avant Gardner, he spent years as the CEO of members-only social club NeueHouse and photography museum Fotografiska, leading both companies in their expansion and global brand-building efforts. Additionally, Josh Wyatt has two decades of experience in the hospitality and culture industry, including a stint as the President of Equinox Hotels and founding leader of Generator Hotels.

“I could not be more excited and motivated to join Avant Gardner, a company that has innovated and pushed the boundaries of music, culture, and the art of bringing people together in magical spaces,” said Josh Wyatt. “The venue design, programming talent, and world-class production design are unparalleled in the music and nightlife venue industry, and I am eager to help Avant Gardner, and its founder, realize its full potential.”

That full potential begins with Avant Gardner’s larger-than-life club experience, The Brooklyn Mirage. Josh Wyatt will help lead the charge as the venue adds a hi-fi listening room for audiophiles, new VIP areas, an integrated art and visual program, and the first-ever mocktail bar at a music venue in the US. Further, a refreshed programming schedule at the venue will include boundary-pushing performances from new artists and more.

My vision is twofold: first, to double down on the guest experience by making fans the center of attention where they can discover, explore, and express themselves in a safe, comfortable environment. Second, we want to enhance this already groundbreaking venue with larger spaces, new concepts, and features that guests cannot find anywhere else.”

Avant Gardner, which was established in 2015, already boasts multiple venues within its 80,000-square-foot complex. The Brooklyn Mirage has become renowned for delivering some of the most surreal performances from top-tier artists, backed by its jaw-dropping LED panels and numerous other upgrades. That said, the new era of Avant Gardner with Josh Wyatt at the helm will surely see even more incredible enhancements to the venue to help it secure its status as one of the world’s top nightlife venues.

On Sunday, November 3, The Brooklyn Mirage will host its final show of the season, “Mirage Loves You.” This one-night-only complimentary afternoon and evening festival is set to celebrate its community with performances from global talent. It will also act as the final look at the space before new updates are unveiled next spring. Head to the official website for more details.
