Multi-talented artist Nicky Elisabeth embarked on a journey of finding self-love and has displayed her growth in her debut album, The Way Of Love.

From DJing and producing to singing and songwriting, Dutch artist Nicky Elisabeth has only continued to win over a growing fanbase over the past few years. Her sound, which marries pop-inspired melodies and deep electronic grooves with stunning vocals, has found its way to speakers worldwide through her releases, performances, or other artists’ sets. Now, Nicky Elisabeth has drawn upon her influences while adventuring into the depths of her soul to create her debut album, The Way Of Love.

The Way Of Love is out now via Anjunadeep, the label that has helped foster Nicky Elisabeth’s rapid ascent in the scene. Its 13 tracks contain downtempo moments that will make you feel sentimental and euphoric moments that urge your feet to dance; all wrapped up in a glowing warmth that has become a signature of this blossoming artist.

‘The Way Of Love’ signifies my journey to finding self-love. In writing this album, I’ve experienced many creative and personal obstacles that needed to be overcome to reach where I am now. When I started writing many years ago, I was obsessed with the idea of capturing my essence in music; I was desperately seeking authenticity to define myself sonically. Looking back, that goal was something I wasn’t ready for at the time. Instead, this album became an incredible process of self-growth—something I needed to do to discover my true value.

“Shape Of Me” opens the journey found on The Way Of Love, putting her weightless vocals front and center before stunning synths wash over the ears and a light bassline begins to chug forward. That refreshing soundscape gives way to the title track, which offers a sultry, uplifting atmosphere that gets your head bopping.

While many of the tracks offer those dancefloor-ready moments, there’s added depth to the story Nicky Elisabeth tells throughout its runtime. “The Lights” is centered on empowerment and belief in one’s self, while others, like “Close To You” and “Memories,” explore elements of desire, longing, and lost love.

Other standouts include “Fading” and “Dusk,” which both feature gorgeous melodic soundscapes that will take your breath away, and “The Game,” which kicks the tempo up a notch for a tune that was clearly made with those nights spent at the club in mind. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though, as The Way Of Love has so much to offer from this talented Dutch artist, so make sure to give it a spin.
