John Digweed’s long-running Live In series will reach its final installment on October 18 with the release of Live In: Stereo, recorded at Stereo Montreal.

John Digweed is a true icon in the electronic music scene with a legacy spanning decades that speaks for itself. This beloved artist is known for his unforgettable performances that can go for hours, and over the past 12 years, he’s captured the essence of those special nights with his Live In series. These live albums have centered on specific shows from around the globe, from Cordoba to London and more, and offer a glimpse into the immersive musical journeys he crafts for those in attendance.

This fall, the long-running series will conclude after John Digweed announced that Live In: Stereo, recorded at Stereo Montreal, will be its last installment. The venue, which is known for its top-tier sound system and dialed-in crowd, is also celebrating 25 years of bringing dance music to the masses, making this release one that’s even more impactful.

“For the final ‘Live In’ mix, I couldn’t think of a better venue to end the series,” John Digweed said. “Stereo is a place where the music just flows out of me—it’s the perfect ending to this journey. I’ve had so many incredible nights at Stereo and always look forward to returning. This final ‘Live In’ album from Stereo Montreal is a celebration of everything that makes this club so special. I hope you enjoy this last chapter as much as I enjoyed creating it.”

Live In: Stereo was recorded in May of this year during yet another magical marathon set from John Digweed that saw him begin at 4am. It will be available as a five-disc CD compilation, with each disc packing in over a dozen curated tunes. This includes selections from the likes of Black Eyes, Lost Desert, Masaya, Chris Fortier, Josh Wink, Argia, Jonathan Kaspar, Moshic, Four Candles, and Alican, among others. Additionally, a vinyl package is available for Live In: Stereo, highlighting 20 of the tracks played throughout the performance.

Those who want their chance to win a piece of history can do so as well, with John Digweed announcing a special contest with the grand prize being the Zoom H4n that recorded most of the Live In albums and all of the Bunker sessions. The winner will also receive a signed CD and t-shirt. Head to his official contest page to enter.

John Digweed’s Live In: Stereo is available for pre-order now ahead of its official release on October 18. Head to his official website for the full tracklist and more information.
