ALIGN Closes Out the Summer Months with a Stunning Mix

ALIGN is fresh off the release of his latest single, “Staying,” and swung by to drop off a buttery smooth mix to help you close out the final days of summer.

Chicago-based DJ and producer ALIGN has been on quite a ride over the past few years. Not only has he dropped fantastic tunes on releases like his debut album, Endless Summer, but he’s also taken the stage at festivals and clubs while gaining support from Big Gigantic, Louis The Child, and more. ALIGN’s upward trajectory is one that dance music lovers should pay close attention to, and he’s only continued to impress in 2024.

This year, ALIGN released tracks like “Beacon,” “Running Home,” and “State Of Mind” on the Apricity EP, which won over the hearts of his growing fanbase. He continued that ride into the summer months with “Wipeout,” “Taste The Sun,” and “High Tide” as he gears up for the release of his next EP.

More recently, ALIGN revealed the latest single from the High Tide EP, “Staying.” This lush track offers a soothing soundscape filled with calming rhythms and delicate melodies, and you’ll find yourself returning to it repeatedly for another dose of its emotion-twinged serenity. “I love this one because it taps into the roots of my style of music,” he shared about the new single. “I’ve been trying a lot of different ideas lately, and writing “Staying” was a nod to the music that I’m familiar with writing.”

To celebrate the release of “Staying” and help close out the summer season, ALIGN spun up a mix brimming with gorgeous tunes that will take your breath away. Found inside are a number of his singles, along with others like “Lost” by RSCL, it’s murph, and Twin Diplomacy, “Summertime Blues” by Chris Lake, Sammy Virji, and Nathan Nicholson, and “Inferno” by Rome in Silver.

The change of seasons is always an incredibly inspiring time. I love feeling the change in atmosphere and it always provides to write new music. Fall is one of my favorite seasons and allows a bit of time to reflect on the summer.
