RÜFÜS DU SOL is gearing up to release their latest album, Inhale / Exhale, and just dropped off their latest single, “Break My Love.”
The sounds of RÜFÜS DU SOL have made a lasting impact on the electronic music scene. The Australian trio’s albums, like 2021’s Surrender, have been at the forefront of the indie dance realm, with emotion-stirring, melodic-driven soundscapes helping solidify their place at the top while winning Grammys along the way. Now, RÜFÜS DU SOL is ready to give their fervent fanbase a new sonic adventure with their fifth studio album, Inhale / Exhale.
Inhale / Exhale is due out on October 11 via Rose Avenue/Reprise Records, and those who have been following the trio lately will have heard some of the tunes that will grace its 15-track runtime. The first single, “Music Is Better,” debuted at Coachella, where RÜFÜS DU SOL took the stage at the newly added Quasar stage. In recent months, the trio dropped its second tune, “Lately,” which quickly captivated fans. It received a sensational remix by Adam Ten and Mita Gami.
Paired with today’s announcement of Inhale / Exhale is the release of “Break My Love,” the third single from the album. This soul-stirring tune puts the best of RÜFÜS DU SOL on display as its textured synths and bassline are married with Tyrone Lindqvist’s crooning vocals to create another memorable ride into the indie dance realm. Akin to the love-fueled nature of the previous two singles, this one offers a hopeful tale of promise you’ll fall for as the seconds tick away.
