Dosem is set to stir up dancefloor energy again with his forthcoming album on Anjunadeep, Desire. The lead single with SOHMI, “Answer,” is out now!
From releasing fantastic tunes that sweep listeners away to performances that make crowds dance from start to finish, there’s no wonder why Dosem has won over a growing number of fans worldwide over the years. This Spanish artist continues to deliver pure electronic magic with his progressive house, tech house, and techno influences guiding the way. Now, after a run of releases on labels like Truesoul, Colorize, and Houstrike, he’s returning to his home on Anjunadeep for a new album, Desire.
Desire lands four years after Dosem’s other gorgeous album, Dream Decoder, dropped on Anjunadeep. Since then, he’s released singles and EPs while consistently touring the globe. For this album, though, the Spaniard is digging even deeper into his roots by exploring the euphoric, atmospheric nature of the progressive house realm that helped define the scene three decades ago.
‘Desire’ is my homage to and vision of progressive house, a genre that had a significant impact on me when I first started listening to electronic music. It is a return to my roots through an album that captures the experience of falling in love on a dancefloor, during the sunset of an eternal summer, where the rhythm grows like a wave until it reaches a climax of escapist euphoria; that magical moment of connection with oneself and with others.

Desire is set to feature 12 tracks, including nine solo soundscapes and three collaborations that see him team up with HANA, Carla Werner, and SOHMI. The tune with SOHMI, “Answer,” is the first single to surface off the album, and its intoxicating blend of hypnotic progressive grooves and sultry vocals will have your feet moving and your soul soaring.
