Brittany Egbert and Elated have joined forces to bring their Sea To Sky project to life and released a mix to show off their uplifting soundscapes.
There’s a certain vibrancy in the uplifting side of electronic music that is impossible to ignore, and that’s exactly what Brittany Egbert and Elated are looking to channel with their new collaborative project, Sea To Sky.
Singer-songwriter Brittany Egbert, who previously worked with artists like James Egbert, Linney, and i_o (under his Fawks and RONIKS aliases), lends her soothing vocals and emotion-fueled lyrics to the project. On the flip side is Elated, a trance and progressive house producer who has defined his career by delivering gorgeous soundscapes that wrap you up in their embrace. Together, under the Sea To Sky project, they’ve become a match made in melodic house heaven.
Sea To Sky’s intent is to take listeners on a transformative voyage filled with healing, growth, and connection, and the first music to surface has helped everyone start down that path. The duo’s debut single on Blue Dot Music, “Chasing Cars,” is a cover of Snow Patrol’s hit tune and is simply stunning. From the serene vocals from Egbert to the soft, uplifting beat that chugs forward ever so delicately, you can’t help but feel the warmth of this one.
But “Chasing Cars” is just the start for Sea To Sky, as they have even more songs to come on the horizon. To give everyone a taste of what’s in store, they’ve dropped off a mix filled with unreleased originals that will surely win you over.
This mix is a showcase of all the music to come. Complete with a ton of original music, including our cover of Chasing Cars which released on Nicholas Gunn’s Blue Dot label in April. This project is the culmination of two artists combining the best of their unique talents, including an intimate Live Show experience. We just signed three tracks to renowned label AVA Recordings and we are sitting on about 12 more finished tracks we are so excited to share with the world.
